Neel Gupta

Neel is an experienced finance professional with a decade of work across consulting, private equity, and investment banking. He has supported teams in climate technology, hardware, energy, infrastructure, real assets, real estate, and the nonprofit sector - helping organizations strengthen financial clarity and long-term value.
Before founding Zirkel Strategies, Neel served as Vice President of Strategic Finance at PVG, advising clients launching new products and ventures focused on climate and economic inequality. He previously worked in private equity at ERA Partners, where he led investment theses, sourcing, execution, and portfolio management across infrastructure and real assets. Neel began his career in the restructuring group at Houlihan Lokey, focusing on distressed M&A and special situations in the energy sector.
He founded Zirkel Strategies to bridge strategic finance and mindful leadership - supporting companies that aim not only to grow, but to grow with purpose.
Neel earned a BBA in Finance with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He enjoys time in the wilderness, community-building, volunteering and empowering individuals with disabilities, and sharing his yoga and meditation practice. He resides in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
